Meatup is the usual location in Laurelhurst Park. There were tons of people last week, so come on out if you haven't met us before.

I will definitely bring the grill, and I've got some lighter fluid, but I hope someone can bring charcoal. I have none, and don't want to have to do the last minute panic shopping I've done the last few times. Any takers? Please.

I'll bring whatever hot dogs I've got left, but again, no time to shop this week. Good things other than dogs and sausages are:

• burgers (of course)
• veggies like peppers, zucchini and yellow squash (cut them up and toss them in olive oil and salt)
• chicken drumsticks (the family pack is always really cheap)
• kabobs
• all the non-grillables: chips, slaw, etc.

Plates, napkins, forks and spoons, etc. are always welcome. Condiments too.
